Comedian Leslie Nielsen World Leave Forever





Canadian comic actor Leslie Nielsen, star of films including "Airplane!" and "The Naked Gun", has died from complications of pneumonia in Florida on Sunday (28/11), his spokesman said. He was 84 years old.

Leslie perhaps best known for playing police Lt. awkward. Frank Drebin in the franchise "Naked Gun". But his long career to pursue television and film for more than 60 years.

A spokesman said Leslie died in hospital near his home in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, accompanied by his wife, Barbaree, and his friends at 17:35 pm local time.

Leslie, who was born in Regina, Saskatchewan, had served as an air gunner in the Air Force and as a radio disc jockey before studying acting in Toronto and in New York City. He wasis the son of a Canadian police personnel .

He first appeared in 1950 on the television show "Studio One", and went to Hollywood in 1954 to star in the film "The Vagabond King. "
