Loop is reporting that Apple is not quite done after wowing the video professional with the introduction Tuesday night for Final Cut Pro X, the first 64-bit versions of video editing software company. Over the last few years, Final Cut Pro is only available as part of a suite called Final Cut Studio, but the new Final Cut Pro X will debut on the Mac App Store in June of this with mind-numbingly low price of only $ 299. What does it mean for the rest of suite?
"Today is just a sneak peek of the Final Cut Pro, looking forward," said representative Jim Dalrymple Apple Loop.
The news that Apple will use the Mac App Store for the debut of Final Cut Pro X appears to signal a possible shift away from a shift in Final Cut Studio, assuming that the other components - including Motion, Soundtrack Pro, Color, Compressor and long-neglected DVD Studio Pro - can also be sold in the same way. The real question now is, will there even a boxed copy of this application a professional?
While we wait patiently for Apple to answer that question, Loop got their hands on some screenshots from Final Cut Pro X to tide us over.
